MIDDLETOWN -- A rolling field, sparkling with fresh fallen snow and ringed with frosted pines inevitably evokes a warm holiday glow. This season help to preserve that picturesque scene in Monmouth County while gaining expert insight into garden and event design and finding beautiful gifts for everyone on your list. On Dec. 3 the Monmouth Conservation Foundation will host its annual Holiday Style Luncheon and Shopping Spree at Navesink Country Club.

Renny Reynolds, one of the nation's most renowned entertaining, gardening and lifestyle experts will be the featured speaker. Reynolds, the founder of the Manhattan based floral and event design firm Renny and Reed and author of "the party-planners bible" THE ART OF THE PARTY, is also a columnist for Elle Decor and has had his designs featured in major magazines including Architectural Digest, W, House and Garden, and Town & Country. The recipient of the "Great American Gardener" Award, the highest honor bestowed by the American Horticulture Society, Reynolds' clients have included Presidents Ford, Nixon, Reagan and Clinton, luminaries of stage and screen, leading corporations and countless brides.

Hortulus Farm, a 100-acre 18th century farmstead was established by Reynolds to serve as a public place for respite, inspiration and education, is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Garden Cooperative along with such illustrious properties as Longwood, Winterthur and Chanticleer. In addition to the formal gardens designed by Reynolds, the property features Hortulus Farm Nursery a leading specialty and perennial plant enterprise that is a frequent award winner at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Renny has served on the boards of P.S.1/MOMA and The Brooklyn Botanical Garden among others.
Throughout the afternoon, a number of boutiques from the tri-state area will offer a wide variety of unique and luxurious items such as leather goods and accessories to home accents and charming garden decor, there is something for everyone -- including the shopper!
Unterberg Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center will serve as lead sponsor for Monmouth Conservation Foundation Holiday Style Luncheon and Shopping Spree.

Boutiques will open at 10 a.m. and shopping will continue until 4 p.m. All are welcome to stop by and shop throughout the day. Navesink Country Club is located at 50 Luffburrow Lane in Middletown.
Monmouth Conservation Foundation is a non-profit organization that collaboratively has preserved more than 22,500 acres of open space and farmland throughout Monmouth County. Founded in 1977 by longtime local residents the late Michael Huber and Judith Stanley, MCF is the only countywide land trust. MCF is one of just 300 land trusts in the United States accredited by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission (LTAC), an independent program of the Land Trust
