Another charged in connection with murder of Ct. man found in N.J.

The third man arrested lives in Oceanport, where the body of Joseph Comunale was found last month

OCEANPORT --  A third man has been arrested on charges in connection with the stabbing death of a Stamford, Ct., man last month, according to WABC 7.

Max Gemma, 29, of Oceanport, has been charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday.

Gemma shares a home with on Seneca Place with Gordon Gemma, a former Oceanport mayor, according to public records. 

The body of Joseph Comunale, 26, was found in a wooded area of Oceanport Nov. 16, just days after he was seen on surveillance video entering the Grand Sutton apartment building in Manhattan. Authorities began to investigate after his father reported Comunale missing.

Murder suspect had bizarre criminal past 

James Rackover, 25, who lives in the Grand Sutton, and 28-year-old Lawrence Dilione of Jersey City have each previously been charged with murder, concealment of a human corpse and tampering with evidence. Dilione also has an address in Oceanport, about two miles from where Comunale's body was found, according to public records.
