Seastreak ferry has canceled direct service between Hudson and Monmouth counties due to an engine problem with a vessel.
Seastreak ferry has cancelled direct service between Monmouth County, Jersey City and Hoboken for Tuesday due to an engine failure on one of it's larger vessels.
Instead, Seastreak has chartered a NY Waterway ferry to provide shuttle service between Pier 11 and Jersey City/Hoboken during the morning and afternoon commuter rush.
That ferry will depart Pier 11 for Jersey City and Hoboken at 6:45 a.m. and 8:20 a.m.
Ferries will depart Jersey City to Pier 11 at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., and from Hoboken to Pier 11 at 3:45 and 5:45 p.m.
What will Seastreak's fare increase buy?
These departures correspond with the Seastreak departures at 6 a.m., from Highlands and 7:30 a.m., from Atlantic Highlands to Pier 11, and the 4:15 and 6:15 p.m. ferries from Pier 11 to Highlands, and Atlantic Highlands. All other Seastreak service is running.
Passengers may also board any regularly scheduled NY Waterway ferry between Jersey City or Hoboken and Pier 11 by purchasing a NY Waterway ticket and saving the receipt. Seastreak will reimburse riders with a receipt at the Atlantic Highlands ticket office.
