ASBURY PARK -- A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the arm Wednesday night on Asbury Avenue, police said.
Officer Michael Casey, spokesman for the Asbury Park Police Department, said the victim was involved in a verbal dispute with multiple people that escalated to a physical altercation.
The dispute occurred in front of a residence on the 1400 block of Asbury Avenue, Casey said.
The victim, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to Casey.
No arrests have been made at this time, and the incident remains under investigation.
