The Asbury Park resident was wrapped in plastic wrap as he had sex with two men at the Upper West Side motel, cops said
NEW YORK -- The death of an Asbury Park man during a sexual tryst at a New York City hotel last year is now being investigated as a homicide.
Paul Dawson, 41, was wrapped in plastic by two men "during an S&M session" at a Comfort Inn on West 71st Street in Manhattan, according to NYPost.com.
Police previously said Dawson died after taking methamphetamines and GHB -- the so-called "date rape" drug.
Dawson's two companions could be charged, NYDailyNews.com said. At the time of his death, the two men said Dawson voluntarily used the drugs.
His sister-in-law told the website Dawson didn't use drugs and that she always suspected foul play was involved.
The motel is now known as the Rodeway Inn.
