Friends and relatives lined the walls of Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch Tuesday night to morn the loss of a family that died in a murder-suicide last week.
LONG BRANCH -- It has been said over and over again by relatives and those close to the family that died in a murder-suicide at their home last week: Lyndon "Shane" Beharry and Amanda Morris loved their two children, Brandon and Brian.
That sentiment was echoed again Tuesday night at a service for the family of four that were found inside a second-floor bedroom after their home had been set ablaze.
"We're all here tonight to remember four special people who are all close to our hearts, very loved, and will truly be missed," a woman, only introduced as Sara, said in front of about 100 people gathered shortly before 8 p.m. at Damiano Funeral Home in Long Branch.
"Shane, Brandon, Mandy and Brian," she continued, before coming to a slight pause, "were a beautiful family. We've seen the love this family had for each other and words cannot begin to express how much they loved each other and especially their children."

Authorities have said that Shane Beharry shot his girlfriend, Amanda Morris, and their two young children, Brandon Beharry, 7, and Brian Beharry, 4, to death before setting their house on fire and then turning the gun on himself.
On Tuesday, four caskets sat beside each other inside the funeral home as friends and relatives lined the walls and sat in rows.
A video montage of photographs played on three small screens positioned in the corners of the funeral home's back room. Photos of the Beharry family happily embracing one another flashed on the screens one by one to the tune of gospel hymns.
People held each other tight, wiping tears from their faces, as each picture appeared on screen and then faded away.
Relatives and neighbors have said they were shocked by the deaths of the Beharry family, especially given how much Shane Beharry cared about his children.
"Shane was an amazing man," Sara said at Tuesday night's service. "... He always voiced how much he loved Mandy and his boys. They were his life, and without them, life was unimaginable."
Sara said Amanda Morris was "not only beautiful on the outside, she was beautiful on the inside as well." She said Morris loved her two boys and was "about family and always having a good time."
"This family will be missed very dearly," Sara said. "We will forever keep them in our hearts. They left us with memories we will cherish forever."
She asked that those who knew the Beharry family to honor them by remembering the positive memories they have of them.
"This beautiful family should not be remembered by how they died, but by how they lived," she said. "May their souls rest in peace and watch over us. Our angels in heaven, we love you."
The visitation ended with a brief prayer as those in attendance stood in silence, bowing their heads.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Brian and Brandon to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, Pa.
