Convention Hall hosted beer lovers from across the region this weekend
ASBURY PARK -- Thousands of people packed Convention Hall for beer and "Cheers to Beers," the title of this year's Beerfest, delivered.
More than 50 breweries served up craft beers, ciders and retro beers across three four-hour sessions this weekend. Thousands of beer lovers paid their way in and were provided with a small glass that they could use to get a few ounces of beer from a variety of brewers.
Wearing a fake mustache provided by The Traveler Beer Co., Larisa Petre enjoyed her beer with a little flair.
Some gave the beer a sniff, checked the color and moved the beer around in their glass before taking a sip and evaluating the drink.
Some even drank through a fake mustache.
