Officials said all students are safe and asked parents not to come to the Village School.
HOLMDEL -- Authorities evacuated Village School Wednesday morning after receiving a "suspicious phone call," officials said.
Officials released few details of the incident but Superintendent Robert McGrarry said all the students were safe.
"The Holmdel PD asks that parents not come to the school at this time," McGrarry said.
Everyone at Village School is safe. Police are on scene.

The students were temporarily placed in school buses during the evacuation due to the inclement weather.
No additional information was immediately available.
This is not the first time the school has been placed on lockdown or evacuated under similar circumstances. In May 2015, area schools were placed on lockdown on four different occasions.
A suspicious phone call prompted a "shelter in place" -- when students remain in rooms and no one is allowed to exit or enter the building -- in May 2015. In that same month, swatting calls -- when someone reports suspicious activity for the purpose of drawing a large law enforcement response -- led to lockdowns at the Indian Hill elementary school, William R. Satz School and Holmdel High School.
The following month, the Village School was placed on lockdown after officials released a report of a gunman on the roof. The report turned out to be false.
