Man flown to burn center after house fire, according to report.
MIDDLETOWN -- An 82-year-old man was hospitalized after he suffered burns in a house fire Saturday afternoon, the Asbury Park Press reported.
The fire broke out around 4 p.m. at the Shadow Lake Village complex, the newspaper reported. Police found the man, who was not publicly identified, outside the home suffering from second- and third- degree burns to his head and hands.
Authorities were investigating what caused the blaze. The man was reportedly flown to the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Burn Center in Livingston for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
