Nearly two dozen videos of students brawling at Neptune High School were posted on a Twitter account starting Sept. 10.
NEPTUNE - Twitter has suspended the account of an unknown user who uploaded nearly two dozen videos that showed students in violent fights outside of Neptune High School, the Asbury Park Press reported.
Between Sept. 10 and Oct. 18, the 23 videos - showing separate incidents of male and female students punching, kicking, slapping and dragging each other by the hair - were posted on the Twitter account, the report said.
Neptune Township School District Superintendent Tami Crader told the Asbury Park Press that school administrators were working with local police to curb violence at the school, adding most of the fights were filmed in 2015 but posted on Twitter later.
Crader told the newspaper that students were disciplined for fighting but did not provide additional details. The Twitter account was suspended Wednesday after local official contacted the social media website, the report said.
