MARLBORO -- A false alarm of a clown sighting at Dugan Elementary School triggered a lockdown Thursday as officials investigated the claim.
"There is absolutely no evidence that there was any individual in the area of the claim,"Superintendent Eric Hibbs said in a message to parents Thursday afternoon.
Threats involving clowns have been a recent nationwide trend, which have lead to a number of local arrests.
