ENGLISHTOWN -- Police were called to a borough home Aug. 24 and used the drug Narcan to revive a man believed to be experiencing a heroin overdose, Greater Media Newspapers reported.
Police, including a special officer who was to be sworn in as a member of the force that night, responded around 6 p.m. and aided the 31-year-old victim, who declined additional medical help, police said.
It was the second time the man had been revived by borough police using Narcan. The victim had previously been aided last summer, police said.
