KEANSBURG - Authorities rescued a man from the Raritan Bay on Thursday after he capsized his watercraft.
Officials from the U.S. Coast Guard, the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office, the NYPD Harbor/Aviation, the FDNY and the Brevent Park Fire Company responded to the Raritan Bay waters off Keansburg on Thursday after a man capsized his personal watercraft and was adrift, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post.
"A search pattern was conducted and the victim was located, air lifted by NYPD aviation and transported to the hospital. Great work to all involved," the post said.
No other details on the watercraft accident, the ensuing rescue or the man's condition were released.
