A small reward has been offered for the return of the ornamental sheep
MIDDLETOWN -- A small reward has been offered for the return of a 300-pound ornamental sheep, reportedly taken from a senior care center in town.
The lawn ornament, which stood with four other sheep statues, was recently snatched from the front lawn of the Arbor Terrace of Middletown, according to Sandra Uphold, the executive director at the center.
Uphold told News 12, which first reported the story, the residents "feel lost" without the center's fifth sheep.
"Please if anyone finds her please return her! There will be a 50 dollar reward to the person who finds her! The staff and residents miss Maise!" the center wrote on Facebook.
The Arbor Terrace of Middletown is a senior center on the southbound side of NJ-35 that offers independent and assisted living services.
