The suspect posed as a shopper, police said.
OCEAN TOWNSHIP -- An Ocean Grove man was arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy after he allegedly used a carefully placed mirror to ogle women from below while they shopped, police said.
A security officer at Target called police April 30 and reported that a man posing as a shopper was actually "inappropriately" looking at women, department spokesman Det. Lt. Timothy Torchia said. Following an investigation police determined that the man had placed a hand mirror in a basket on the floor near garment racks in the women's clothing section.
The man, later identified as 56-year-old Julius G. Reynolds, was arrested May 16 and was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $7,500 bail.
