The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and died of her injuries nearly two days later, police said.
FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP -- A Freehold Township woman has died from her injuries after being hit by a pickup truck Monday night, authorities said.
The woman was identified as Angeleea Pizarro, 20, said township police Detective Daniel Valentine. He said she died Wednesday at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune where she was taken in critical condition after the incident.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 2001 red Chevrolet Silverado, was identified as Pinnell Capeheart III, 28, also of Freehold Township, Valentine said.
Police said that Pizarro was hit as she was crossing Stonehurst Boulevard just south of Windsor Terrace at 10:24 p.m.
No charges have been filed, but the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Valentine at 732-294-5142.
