Joseph Corio, 22, met a 15-year-old girl online and then starting having an "inappropriate sexual relationship" with her, authorities said.
MIDDLETOWN -- A township man was arrested after authorities say he sexually assaulted two teenage girls, including one he met on a dating website.
Joseph Corio, 22, was arrested at his home on Tuesday and charged with two counts of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
Authorities say Corio met a 15-year-old girl in September 2015 on a dating website and started having an "inappropriate sexual relationship" with her. Corio then engaged in "illegal sexual acts" with a 13-year-old girl who he allegedly met through the first teenage victim, Della Fave said.
The allegations against Corio came after a joint investigation with the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office and Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
Corio was taken to the Ocean County Jail and bail was set at $100,000 with no 10-percent option.
